The world heads of state condolences and praising the final leadership of Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev, who died at the age of 91.

The Kremlin spokesman today said President Vladimir Putin expressed his deep condolences to the news of Mr. Gorbachev's death.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres issued a statement praising Mr. Gorbachev as a unique politician, who changed the historical process and did more than any individual to bring the end of the war.

The European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen praised Mr. Gorbachev as a reliable and respected leader, who paved the way for a free Europe.

His important role in eliminating the iron curtain, the world division symbol, and the end of the Cold War left the heritage we will not be forgotten, Ms. Von Der Leyen posted Twitter.

French President Emmanuel Macron praised Mr. Gorbachev as a person of peace.

Macron on Twitter sent condolences about the death of Mikhail Gorbachev, a man of peace, who had a choice to open a free path for the Russians.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he always admired the courage and integrity that Gorbachev has shown to bring the Cold War to end in peace.

While Russia opened a military campaign in Ukraine, his tireless commitment to the opening of the Soviet society was still an example for all of us, Johnson said in the Twitter post.

British Foreign Minister Liz Truss, candidate for the Prime Minister replaced Mr. Johnson, describing Mr. Gorbachev as a remarkable politician, deeply contributing to security and global stability, cooperating with Western leaders to terminate.

Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi called Mr. Gorbachev the struggle for the democracy and change the history of the 20th century, and expressed mourning for his wide -looking and judgment loss.

Mr. Gorbachev, Soviet leader from 1985 to 1991, died on the night of August 30 after a long time of fighting the disease.

The former Soviet leader spent most of the last years of the hospital when his health was worse and wasolated himself during the CIVI-19 epidemic to avoid virus infection.

He is loved by the Western people and is often called by Gorby.

After leaving the office, he has repeatedly called for Kremlin and the White House to heal the relationship when tensions escalate, since Russia merged the Crimea peninsula in 2014 and launched a military campaign in Ukraine from the end of the end.
