Russian Energy Group Gazprom confirms the gas flows through Nord Stream 1 to Europe is stopped from August 31 to September 3 for maintenance.

Data from the gas pipeline operator, Nord Stream AG, indicates that no gas supply is transported until 3:00 this morning (7pm in Hanoi).

Gazprom previously said that the supply of gas through Nord Stream 1 will be completely stopped from August 31 to September 2 to maintain the only air compressor team that still works.

Since July, Nord Stream 1 pipes have been operating with a decrease in capacity due to some gas turbines.

Nord Stream 1 is the largest gas pipeline from Russia to Germany through the Baltic Sea, transporting about 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
