Pakistan is calling for more support from the world after the floods sweep the country since June, killing more than 1,000 people.

The United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and some other countries have contributed to Pakistan to respond to floods, but the country still needs more aid, Salman Sufi, Ministry of Home Affairs.

More than 1,000 people have died and millions of people have lost their homes since June for natural disasters.

In the northwest of the country, thousands of people have to leave their homes after the rivers in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province broke the shore, causing flash floods.

The house we built for many years of cheating, working hard, sinking right before our eyes, Junaid Khan, 23 years old, said.

Sindh province in southeastern Pakistan was also heavily affected, with thousands of people evacuated.

Pakistan has struggled with economic problems but now, as soon as we are about to overcome them, the monsoon disaster comes, he said, adding that the capital from many development projects has been transferred.

Flooding is not a rare phenomenon in Pakistan but people in Sindh province said that this year's rains are very different.

Near the city of Larkana, thousands of mud houses have been submerged in the water and what can be seen is the trees.

In a village, people are desperate because they do not have enough food.

Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif said that 33 million people were affected by floods, nearly 15% of the country's population.
