Tu-214on aircraft are used for flights within the Treaty of Treaty.

The move was conducted only a week after US Deputy Foreign Minister Wendy Sherman informed the Russian co-member Sergei Ryabkov on the decision to not return to this Treaty.

The decision to withdraw from the open sky treaty makes the US and Russia only a unique weapon control agreement is the new strategic weapon cutting treaty (New Start).

Open Sky Treaty was signed in 1992 and takes effect from 2002, allowing nearly 30 member states to perform monitoring flights to be reported to each other's territory to monitor potential military activities

The monitored nation will receive a 72-hour flight notice, the route will be sent to 24 hours before this country proposes to revise.

However, the government President Donald Trump in November 2020 announced the decision to withdrew from this Treaty, after accusing Russia continuously violating the agreement as a flight of American flights in Georgia and Kaliningrad territories

The open sky is one of the great treaties that Washington pulled away under Trump.

President Biden when taking office declared would have a more rigid perspective with Russia, but it was more open to international treaties after Trump gave up a series of multilateral agreements.
