"The election results reflect the pain and uncertainty that Singaporeans feel in this crisis," Li said, adding that "this is not a good feeling."

The statement came after PAP won 83/93 seats in Singapore parliament, with the popular vote for the party at 61.2%.

Prime Minister Lee affirmed that Singaporeans understand the risks they are facing and the reasons for protecting the national interests together.
