However, this officer said that the personal combat ability of Western mercenaries did not make a difference in the current Ukrainian war.

Ukraine founded the International Corps a few days after Russia opened a special military campaign in the country in late February. Kiev committed to immun visa exemption for foreigners who were willing to come to the country to fight against power.

Russia called these Western volunteer gunmen a foreign mercenary, saying the Ukrainian government has recruited nearly 7,000 gunmen from 63 countries, including those who have no fighting experience.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said nearly 2,000 Western mercenaries were killed and nearly 1,800 left the ranks, while more than 3,200 fighters fought alongside Ukrainian units.

Russia is promoting the overwhelming advantage of fire with heavy weapons after redirecting the campaign to the eastern Donbass region.

The Russian forces no longer use the tank squad, powerful armor to open the road as before, but set up the artillery battlefield at a distance, constantly flushing firecrackers down on suspected targets with Ukraine forces defending.

When the cannon transferred lanes, the Russian infantry and the new armored armored advanced, opened fire.

Returning from Ukraine, many Western volunteer soldiers reveal the difference in a heaven among what they expect and reality of the battlefield.

Drueke, US veteran in Ukraine, said he had never opened fire before being arrested and hoped that this would affect the upcoming sentence.
