In such negotiations, Russia wants to freeze conflict while maintaining the status quo of the Ukriane territory they control, Podolyak declared.

The Ukrainian presidential adviser confirmed that the country had a practical viewpoint, while Russia did not want serious negotiations but tried to postpone the campaign before launching a new attack.

All other scenarios only showed the postponement of the dangerous campaign before the new attack, Podolyak declared, and confirmed that Ukraine would resist as long as they were.

UiKraine rejected negotiations for the territories that Russia is controlling, instead claiming to regain this area, as well as the localities that the separatist control and Crimea, the Russian peninsula merged in 2014 in 2014.

Podolyak said Russia sent its proposals through many different intermediaries, but did not name them because Kiev currently has no political connection with Moscow.

Russia has not commented on Ukraine's information.
