Russia will study new offensive missiles that will be able to defeat the defensive shields in the world, Putin announced on October 12.

"The defense complex was developed to deal with fixed-orbit flying missiles, while we have improved the missile many times and built weapons that no other country has," Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Russian and Saudi media last weekend.

The announcement was made before Putin began his visit to Saudi Arabia on October 14. Kremlin adviser Yury Ushakov said the two sides would sign 30 trade and other documents during the visit.

President Putin offered S-400 long-range air defense systems to Saudi Arabia in September, claiming it could protect Riyadh's infrastructure after the attack on two of the country's largest oil refineries today. 9/14.

Moscow is developing a number of missile projects dealing with defensive shields, focusing on the maneuverability and high speed of the warhead that the enemy cannot intercept.
