Ukrainian officials said Russian missiles hit the city of Zaporizhzhia today, in the southeast of the country, leaving at least 17 deaths and 87 injuries.

According to Zaporizhzhia Oleksandr Starukh, Russian aircraft launched at least 12 missiles, destroyed many parts of a 9 -storey apartment building, leveled 5 houses and damaged many other houses.

The Secretary of the Anatoliy Kurtev City Council said the missile attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia, the capital of Zaporizhzhia province, in the night, causing at least 20 houses and 50 apartment buildings to be damaged.

The buildings were damaged after the Russian missile raid in the city of Zaporizhzhia on October 9.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack as a criminal act, and claimed that the responsible party would be given to justice.

Russia has not commented on this information.
